Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway was founded in 1832. So we can safely say that it is one of the oldest railway companies in the world. Ffestiniog Railway includes such stations and halts as Porthmadog Harbour Station, Boston Lodge Halt, Minffordd, Penrhyndeudraeth, Plas Halt, Tan y Bwlch, Dduallt, Tanygrisiau and Blaenau Ffestiniog. And Welsh Highland Railway (WHR) includes: Caernarfon, Bontnewydd Halt, Dinas, Waunfawr, Plas y Nant Halt, Snowdon Ranger Halt, Rhyd Ddu, Meillionen, Beddgelert, Nantmor, Pont Croesor and Porthmadog Harbour Station.
